Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club, always a non-smoking showroom and club, is conveniently located in Park North Plaza at Loop 410 and Blanco, just inside the loop and a few miles from the airport. Perfect for dates, parties, special events and fundraisers, Laugh Out Loud will keep you and your friends laughing. Our bar lounge is a great place to meet for a drink before the comedy show. Laugh Out Loud is our newest comedy venue, but we’ve been entertaining San Antonio with A-list comedians for 16 years at Rivercenter Comedy Club. So check us out and get ready to Laugh Out Loud!

Where do your comedians come from?

Our headliners are among the top comedians touring the country. Many of them have been on The Tonight Show, The Late Show, Conan, HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central, as well as other television programs and feature films. Many of them you may have heard of or seen, others not, but they are all funny. Feature (middle) acts are generally up-and-coming comedians from throughout the U.S., although we also occasionally dip into our strong pool of local talent for feature acts.

How are the shows "rated"?

Most shows are the equivalent to movies in the PG-13 to R-rated categories. This is live comedy and it is for adults, so it is spontaneous and you should expect some adult language and content. We also have some shows in the PG range and, on the other hand, some shows are very adult-oriented; these shows are generally so noted on our calendar. If you have a question about a particular comedian, you might check him or her out online, or give us a call.

Where are you located?

The Laugh Out Loud Comedy Club is located in north central San Antonio, near the airport. It is in the Park North complex across San Pedro Avenue from North Star Mall at 618 NW Loop 410, between Blanco Road and San Pedro on the south side of Loop 410. You’ll find us up the escalators, next to the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema.

Where do we park?

Free parking is available in the large surface parking lot in front of our building, and in the underground parking garage with access to the club floor by the elevator. If the surface parking lot is full, we highly recommend the parking garage.

What are your showtimes?

We generally have shows Wednesday through Sunday at 8:00 p.m., with late shows Friday and Saturday at 10:15. Each Tuesday at 8:00 is a free open mic with drink specials; come check it out! Please note that dates and showtimes can vary, so please always check our calendar.

What time do I gotta be there?

Arrive early and enjoy a pre-show drink in our attractive and spacious lobby bar before our showroom doors open. All seating is general admission, first-come first-served, so the earlier you arrive, the better seat selection you will have. The showroom doors generally open 45 minutes before showtime, except for our late shows when doors generally open about 20 minutes before showtime. You can always stop by our bar for a drink--even if your plans don’t include seeing a comedy show.

Is there a drink minimum?

There is a two-item per person minimum for all shows. We have full food and beverage service inside our showroom, so if you arrive after the showroom doors are open, it is not necessary to stop at the lobby bar first for a beverage. The two-item per person minimum can consist of food and/or drinks. It doesn’t have to be alcohol, but you gotta have something! Our friendly waitstaff are happy to make suggestions.

How do I score tickets?

You may purchase tickets to our shows in advance-either by phone, in person or online at our website-or at the box office the evening of the performance. Many shows do sell out, so we do recommend advance purchase. Please note that our coupons, Groupons and discounts cannot be used for designated special events. Please check our online calendar to find out which shows are so designated. Certain of our coupons are not valid for Saturday shows; if that restriction applies, it should be printed on your coupon. Please check the specific coupon for validity details. Comedy tickets make great gifts! You can buy gift certificates in any amount.

Can we get reserved seats?

All seating is general admission, first-come first-served. After checking in at the box office, you will either go directly into our showroom to be seated (if the showroom doors have opened), or wait in the bar area. Our late shows on Friday and Saturday normally require waiting and maybe even standing in line until the early show lets out. Feel free to order drinks while waiting. Again, please arrive early if you prefer sitting close to the stage, as all seating is first-come first-served. Note that we cannot seat parties in the first couple of rows unless all members of your party are present.

Can we get seats together for a group?

If you are with a large group, please arrive early to make it easier to seat you together in the showroom. If you arrive late to a full show, it is possible that we will have to seat you separately. Also, remember that LOL is a great place for parties, events and fundraisers, at all times of day or night. Please call us to discuss group accommodations.

Will I have a server?

Food and drinks inside the showroom are served by our well-trained waitstaff throughout the show. If it's a sold-out show, please don't fret, as your server will be with you as quickly as possible. We especially ask a little patience during our late shows, as often there are large numbers of people entering the showroom at the same time, and it may take a little while for our waitstaff to get to everyone. Our shows usually feature three comedians, including the headliner, and generally last 90 - 100 minutes. Your server will begin closing your check about fifteen minutes before the show ends.

Can I take photos or video?

Once the show begins, photos and videos are not permitted. Also, PLEASE turn off your cell phone and keep table conversation to a minimum. Our guests pay to see the comedians onstage (not sideline drama in the audience), so we ask that you keep any comments to a minimum and refrain from talking, using your cell phone, texting, emailing or taking photographs. We regret that we occasionally have to ask patrons to leave if they are disrupting the show. This is for the benefit of all audience members. If you must talk on your cell phone or text, please do so outside of the showroom.

Are you smoke-free?

There is no smoking or vaping allowed inside of our facility. This includes no E-cigarettes or vaporizers, etc. There is an outside patio area where smoking is allowed.

How do I get Comedy Club news?

During your visit, please take the time to fill out our newsletter sign-up card to receive information about our upcoming acts, special events and to receive tickets on your birthday and other special offers.
